SLFRF Closeout Resources

In the summer of 2025, the U.S. Treasury Department began offering early closeout for certain SLFRF recipients who have reported their award as fully expended. Treasury is inviting fully expended recipients to close their awards on a rolling basis, meaning this process is not yet available to everyone. Treasury will email the designated Point of Contact(s) for each recipient entity when they are eligible for closeout. Recipients must continue reporting for these funds until they submit and are approved for closeout.

If a recipient is eligible for closeout, their award will be listed in the Closeout Reports tab to the left of Treasury’s portal homepage. Review Treasury’s available closeout resources, occasionally check for email and portal updates, and confirm portal access for all users needed in preparation for closeout.
